WHAT IS HOME AUTOMATION…

The latest technology now makes it possible to have a unified, comprehensive control system which can implement a wide array of adjustments to all the home’s electronic functions, including the lighting, music, climate control, home theater system, media room devices, window shade closures, baby room monitors, and the home’s surveillance security system -  even the pool and spa - by using an entirely secure phone app,  remote or a wall mounted touchscreen panel. This is now the reality of living in a completely automated smart home.

The entire system can be personalized to suit the owner’s needs and  manipulated and can be administered  from a central keypad, touch pad, or mobile device. With the ability to control all electronic functions from one easy-to-use interface—whether it's a touch screen, remote control, keypad, or even a smartphone—the home becomes more comfortable, convenient and secure. After a short time, one begins to wonder how one ever lived without the conveniences Home Automation Technology affords. 

Here is an example: when the family sits down to enjoy a movie, it typically takes  three or four remotes to actually get the movie playing. Then, once the movie finally begins, there is a need to get up and turn off or dim the lights. Or adjust the temperature in the room.  And check to make sure that the front door is locked. Or the garage. And to see whether the baby is finally asleep. And maybe to turn off the oven midway through the movie.
